Rasmussen Consulting was founded in 2004 by Robert Rasmussen and Jette Duus and operates globally in Europe, Japan, Singapore and the Americas.
Robert Rasmussen - United States and Europe
Managing Director and Chief Facilitator. A former employee of LEGO, Robert is a main architect of the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY methodology and co-author of the book "Building a Better Business Using the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Method".
After several years and more than 20 iterations, he and his team developed the concept into the reproducible and robust methodology it is today. He is the master trainer in the LSP methodology. Robert is co-principal for Rasmussen Consulting in US and in Denmark and on the advisory board for Rasmussen Consulting in Japan and Singapore. He is master trainer for the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method. Trained and certified facilitator in the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method – 2006. Motivational coach and speaker. Experienced project manager. Co-founder and partner in Rasmussen Consulting. Degree from International Business College in Kolding, DK. Coach and psychology degrees from USA. Facilitate workshops within all areas of business life.

Takasi Hasunuma - Japan
He is one of the most active evangelists in Japan, frequently providing seminars in public and lectures at national and private universities. He came across with this methodology in 2007 while he was Program Director of Kyushu-Asia Institute of Leadership and then became a certified facilitator in 2008.
He started his career a trader of chemicals in 1974 and then a new technology researcher at Mitsubishi Corporation, until he became an Executive Director at Russell Reynolds Associates, Inc in 1989. In 1994, He became one of the founding members of Globis Corporation and developed executive training programs with case method for Japanese multinational manufacturing and comprehensive trading companies during 1994 -1997; Globis Corporation is now a leading private business school, approved by Japan’s Minister of Culture & Science. Then he became a Managing Director of Texchem Group of Companies of Malaysia, where he led manufacturing companies of plastics packages for multinational semiconductor and hard disk drive manufacturers in Thailand, Singapore and Philippines during 1998-2004.
He has an MBA from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, United States (1985) and a BS in Industrial Management from Waseda University, Japan (1974).

Masao Ishihara - Japan and Asia in general
Director and Chief Facilitator and Principal of Rasmussen Academy, Japan. With his long years of working experiences and research institutions, his main mission in his carrier has been promoting “Constructionism” based learning at schools and businesses. He has a BS from International Christian University (1985) and a MS from Boston University (Management Information System, 1990).
Through his many years of working relations, he was invited by Robert Rasmussen to join Rasmussen Consulting. He became the first qualified facilitator in Japan and is today also the first trainer-of-facilitators in Japan. Ever since, he has been mainly contributing the company’s Japanese operation as chief application designer as well research and development new ways to apply LSP and Rasmussen Consulting’s own methodology to various business challenges. Kris Tay - Singapore and Asia in general
Kris has a degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. In March 2010, she had attained the certification as a facilitator in the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method. In 2011, Kris had attained the Advanced Diploma for Public Speaking with the London Academy of Music.
Kris is by profession, a trainer and workshop facilitator. She is passionate about maximizing and unlocking the full creativity and potential of children and adults alike. Kris has been engaged by the Gifted Education Branch, Ministry of Education, Singapore, to conduct public speaking workshops for the gifted pupils and the Republic Polytechnic to help students in their presentation skills.

Carlo Spellucci – Europe and North America
Since 2015 Carlo facilitates with the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method helping organizations grow at the intersection of People - Processes – Technology.
Carlo is a Civil Engineer from the University of Rome. While pursuing a PhD and then an MBA, he started his corporate career in Airline industry at Alitalia, designing processes and IT systems for Supply Chain. In 2007 he took the position of Head of Procurement at Eurofly then in 2009 he moved to Pharma at Eli Lilly as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Carlo worked in continuous improvement projects across the entire pharma value chain until he took the role of Corporate Innovation Champion kicking-off the Design Thinking journey at Eli Lilly and bringing the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method to Europe, Canada and Japan.
Since 2017 Carlo teaches Design Thinking at the University of Florence to reinforce transferable skills, and he consult and mentor startups in the digital ecosystem. In 2019 Carlo founded Stem camp, a program to bring LEGO Robot in after school and school programs in Italy.
In 2020 he bootstrapped Bricks4Change, the first global pro-bono LEGO SERIOUS PLAY initiative aimed at kids and young adults to discuss COVID and CLIMATE.

Laurence Sato - Japan
Laurence Sato was certified in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method under Robert Rasmussen in 2011 in Singapore and since then, he has used LSP extensively in personal empowerment, career development, organization development, and educational contexts. He qualified as a Trainer of Facilitators in 2022. Earlier, Laurence worked at Sony Corporation, in charge of marketing and sales of broad casting products to both domestic and foreign market. And then, at a recruiting agent, he supported HR personnel of various industries to hire talented new graduates.
Laurence received his Bachelor of Art in Foreign Language (English) in 1998 from Sophia University (Tokyo). He also exchanged to Auckland University in New Zealand. Laurence delivers LSP trainings in partnership with Robert Rasmussen and Associates Japan. They have co-worked for offering trainings for many years. Also, Laurence, CEO of Life Break Through Japan Inc., delivers workshops and seminars about career development and “Philosophy of How to Work”, being certified as a Career Workshop Fermenter.
Laurence is passionate about building a safe place to everyone where people can foster confidence to express their own thought and feelings which is inevitable to breakthrough themselves and their lives.

JAIME ANDRÉS LÓPEZ GARCÍA - Latin America (Spanish)
Jaime Andrés began his path with the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method in 2011 when he was trained by Robert Rasmussen; since then he has been using LSP® in different educational, counseling and business contexts. After a long journey, Jaime obtained his qualification as a Trainer of Facilitator in 2022. He focuses on providing strategy and innovation workshops with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, working with different types of clients throughout LATAM.
In 2018 Jaime obtained the MSc. Degree, in Human Talent Management and became professor of the Management Skills chair. Besides the passion Jaime feels for LSP®, he is also an international speaker, executive coach, entrepreneur in different topics and theater actor.
In 2012, Jaime started a new project that runs until these days called Play and Build, where he is the CEO. Now, Play and Build is a company where people can find different methodologies in service of the companies, their strategy and their growth.

Paquisa Mazzola – Brazil and Portugal
Paquisa has been working with the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology since 2013, and since then Paquisa has been responsible for organizing the training of facilitators in Brazil. Because of this, Paquisa became recognized and a key person in LEGO SERIOUS PLAY in the country, not only in the Community, but in the business market. Since becoming a facilitator trainer in the LSP method, Paquisa has been working to expand the market in Brazil and Portugal. She is the founder of Smart Play Consulting specializing in Experience Design and Workshops using LEGO SERIOUS PLAY for the development of people and organizations in different business segments, for large companies, industries and Educational Institutions.
Paquisa has a degree in Social Communication and a postgraduate degree in Marketing and Business from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP in São Paulo, Brazil). She is also an Experience Designer certified by Kaospilitot in 2018.
Paquisa's passion for LEGO began when she worked at LEGO® Education (São Paulo-Brazil) and worked on development projects for children, young people and social projects. She was also responsible for organizing the FLL Robotics Tournaments (FIRST LEGO League) in Brazil to help expand STEM among children and young people throughout Brazil.
